Great Bend Public Schools (USD 428) invites job seekers to kick off the new year with a fresh opportunity at the USD 428 Food Service Job Fair on Monday, January 5, from 1–3 p.m. The event will be held at the Support Service Building, 625 E. 10th St., Great Bend.

The job fair will highlight openings within the district’s Food Service Department, including Manager-in-Training positions starting at $16.75 per hour, with a $0.25 per hour wage increase after the first 60 days, as well as full- and part-time server positions at schools across the district.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about job responsibilities, pay, benefits, training, and scheduling options. Representatives from USD 428 Food Service will be available to answer questions and help applicants explore how these roles support students and schools each day. Light refreshments and door prizes will be available for attendees.
